Blogger Best of 2006 List

When Annie from Blogdorf Goodman asked me to participate and post a blog about my favorite beauty product discoveries of 2006 I was totally psyched and ran to my beauty closet to see what I have. Every year beauty companies come out with more and more fabulous things. So I have decided that I would share some of my discoveries that I love and maybe some of you will love them too!

Mascara

Dior MaximEyes $23 in Maxi Black is my favorite since it never clumps, runs down my face, makes my lashes look super long and sexy! I got this as a sample earlier this year and I have not used anything else since then.

Hair

Biosilk Silk Therapy treatment $10-$70 My hair dresser started using this stuff on my hair after she blew it straight and it honestly kept the frizz and gave my hair so much shine and it actually smells great. I have very wavy/curly hair and it works for me no matter how I wear it and never makes my hair look oily.

Nail Polish

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Color $18.00. I have to admit that I was never the girl that bought nail polish because I just went out and got my nails done. Recently I have been addicted to the Chanel nail polishes and never been happier!

Blush

Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush $39.50 All I have to say is this blush is absolutely amazing! It gives you such a glow that you look like a million bucks!

All in one Palette

Dallas Palette $28This pallet is great for when I am running out of the house and I need to put my makeup on in the car. It has eyeshadows, lip shines and the powder that gives you just a instant glow.
Lipgloss ( I got two favorites)

Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss $23.50

has been my lipgloss of choice for a while since it is not very sticky and gives you high gloss look.

Stila

a glazed affair: mini lip glaze set $25. I love how small these little darlings are and keep them on me and apply throughout the day for a little shiny lip action.

Cleansing Masks

Fresh Sugar Face Polish $55 I originally got this as a sample and had to go out the next day and get more of it. I love this deep-cleansing mask that cleans my face and makes it super soft.

Keihl’s Lip Balm is the only lip balm that I can use that does not further irritate my lips if they are chapped. I have been using this for years but I had to include it since it is my favorite!

That sugar face polish looks yummy! This sounds like a stupid question but does it taste nice??? I love beauty stuff that tastes good - e.g. DIY honey face masks...
