Over the past several weeks I have been moving to the new apartment. Moving seriously sucks the life out of me which then gives me no time to post or even read anyone else’s blogs! Please bare with me while I get my life back together and get a new laptop because the old one blew up….

Project Runway 2 Winner Chloe

What a great season it has been. I have to admit I have been rooting for Chloe from the beginning and started to get nervous that it was going to be Daniel that would ultimately win. Chloe is truly a talented designer and the dresses that she made were absolutely gorgeous! Now Chloe has a mentorship in BR, a new car, and a spread in ELLE.

Wrap It Up

Personally I love the feel of a comfortable, flowing, feminine skirt. Here are two lovely numbers that you may want to add to your wardrobe.

Kara Janx and her Kimono dress.




This dress is $210 and comes in an array of lovely colors. It looks so comfortable that you want to wear it as much as you can. Kara coincidentally wore this little number on the same show she was kicked auf (Project Runway reference just in case you did not know).

This sweet little grey sands-skirt is from Anthroplogie, retails for $138, is comfortable and flowing, and flattering to most body types. I secretly wish it also came in other colors...

Highlights from Project Runway Second Season Reunion

So many fond memories from this show. I want to share my personal highlights. The first would have to be that Kara got engaged. The second that John Wade lost a ton of weight and he does not like to speak about it.

News about Nick!

Nick designed a gown for Brenda Strong from Desperate Housewives for the SAG Awards. Brenda apparently loved the dress that Nick designed for Nicky Hilton so much that she commissioned one for herself! One of my favorite quotes was from Heidi when she was talking about the Barbie doll challenge that Nick won “I was lucky to get one - they went like bagels.”

Santino’s famous quotes of the night…

“I did not come on this show to make friends, I came here to win.”

“Emmett eat my ass.”

“I am definitely overall like a compassionate and nice person”.

“I don’t regret any of it and I do not regret saying any of it. What I regret is the way that I made other people feel if it hurt their feelings because my intention wasn’t to hurt their feelings.”

Tim Gunn talks to the drunken Guadelupe.

Tim asks a question that was sent in to PR: “Did you feel that your elimination was fair even though Marla had plagiarized the dress that Nicky Hilton had worn before?” Remember everyone this was the black Chloe-dress that was in question.

Guadelupe’s answer was all over the place with words like “pushing boundaries” and mentioning the late Johnny Cash. Santino said it best with “Have you guys all been drinking or something because I want what they are having.”

Tim is now totally appalled at her comment and says “This is the biggest bunch of bullshit I think I have heard in weeks…sorry.”

Of course there were flashbacks to previous episodes that are funny and some are so sad…Andrae … There was the LOL Tim Gunn impressions done by Santino.

The main question of the night was “Who do you think is going to win Fashion Runway”? To me I feel they are split between Santino and Daniel.
