Project Runway American Beauty

In this weeks episode of Project Runway the designers where put into teams of 2 to design a dress from Miss USA, Tara Conner to wear at the Miss Universe pageant. Tara Conner was the guest judge and the ultimate judge to pick the winner of this contest. The fabulous wedding dress designer Vera Wang filled in for Michael Kors and it was very exciting to see her on TV since her gowns are truly fabulous. Kayne the pageant designer extraordinaire with his team mate Robert where the winner of this challenge and made a fabulous dress for Tara. I am so happy for Kayne since he designs and has his own shop of pageant gowns that winning this contest is like a actor winning a Emmy.



Sadly Malan is out and with all the blog posts that I have read he will be sadly missed. What would Project Runway be without drama since this week the biggest drama-rama came from Vincent and Angela which honestly you would have to watch the show to understand it fully.



The second runner up if there really is any would have to go to Uli and Bonnie and their creation which I thought was quite lovely and would be a great dress for a celebrity to wear on the red carpet.

Project Runway Video Mash-ups!

I love Project Runway because it is funny and all about fashion! On Bravo you can create your own runway by putting clips together from Season 2 and Season 3, adding music and then sharing it with all your friends. I have just finished mine and I think it is pretty great. Even the hubby said it was not too bad.

Project Runway 3

Today was the season premiere of the best show on Bravo Project Runway! Heidi looks wonderful as usual and she is still rocking the necklace that she wore in season 2 and I believe season 2. There are 15 designers this season competing to be the winner. The challenge was to use materials found in their apartment. This challenge like all is about innovation to use items such as sheets, rugs, and accessories.
The guest judge was Kate Spade and that is pretty impressive to see her on the show.

The winner was Keith with his beautiful bed sheet dress with comforter buttons and he has also won immunity from the next show. Keith is a men’s wear designer who has never made a dress before until tonight. Stacey was auf’d and I believe that this was the best decision especially since she could not use the sewing machine and this would have been a huge challenge to her throughout the season.

Did everyone catch Laura and her Louis Vuitton luggage because I did and I am jealous? Jeffrey seams that he is going to keep this season interesting and has a little Santino in him. So far I do not have any favorites…. Does anyone have any favorites?
