Red Lipstick

It has been said that Ancient Egyptians painted their lips red and the geishas paint their faces white and their lips red. It seems that red lips are a universal symbol of beauty.

If you do not have the right red lipstick in your collection and you are having a hard time figuring out which one you want you should go to a beauty counter. I believe that everyone can wear red as long as the shade is complementary to your skin tone. When wearing a red lipstick which is the main focus of your face the rest of the face should be kept rather neutral so you do not appear clownish.

Proenza Schouler

Proenza Schouler is the new GO International for Target. I made sure that I went to Target to inspect this new line and see what it was all about. There are a few pieces that are really cute and you should check it out for yourself.

Silk Colorblock Dress - Williamsburg Navy/ Black $44.99

This dress looks so much better in person that the pictures do not give it justice. It has a lovely design around the chest area and overall has a very flattering fit. The dress is made of silk so it does have sexiness to it and it is perfect for a night on the town.

This top is also really cute and I really like the attention to detail on the adjustable straps which a huge thing for me since I usually would need to have to take it in.

Style.com lookbooks

While reading one of my favorite blogs Blogdorf Goodman she said that she had become addicted to the style.com lookbooks. Since I was not really sure what a lookbook was I had to check it out and now I am totally addicted too! Basically a lookbook is you find your favorite looks, models, designers… and you create a on line book of your favorite shoes, dresses, models, bags and organize it however you like.
