Floral Fever

Nautical

I have always found something completely relaxing about the nautical trend. When I see little striped shirts worn with cute sailor pants I automatically feel like I should be on vacationing on a boat in the Rivera or the Caribbean. It seems that the nautical trend is going to be huge this spring/summer since it was seen on the runway and I could not be happier since to me it is a better trend than the skull and cross bones which just reminded me of poison and not of relaxation…

While reading one of my favorite blogs Blogdorf Goodman she said that she had become addicted to the style.com lookbooks. Since I was not really sure what a lookbook was I had to check it out and now I am totally addicted too! Basically a lookbook is you find your favorite looks, models, designers… and you create a on line book of your favorite shoes, dresses, models, bags and organize it however you like. Barbie Loves MAC

On February 2007 MAC will be debuting Barbie Loves Mac. "This is intended to be a very sophisticated makeup collection, designed for adults — not children," said Peter Lichtenthal, general manager of MAC Cosmetics. MAC calls this a Collection inspired by your favorite fashion idol for all you living dolls. My sisters where huge Barbie fans and I grew up loving to play with my Barbie and all her cool clothes.

The collection will include lipstick, lip glass, eye shadow, liquid last liner, blush, glimmer shimmer, beauty powder and nail lacquer. They have also created a MAC Barbie retailing for $35.
